Our picks going into December

These are some links that we found the most interesting going into december. Each month we pick 1 thing we found very interesting and put it into a list. This list might give you some insight in how Wheelhouse thinks and what intrigues us.
- Its time to say goodbye to docker
I always considered docker to be the only tool for containerisation. For my home server I have been using docker-compose and never did I even think about an alternative. This article does a good job of listing and explaining alternatives to docker. My next project for my home server is to migrate to k3s using kompose
- Carbon Design System
Carbon Design System is a great example when working on your design system and guidelines. When designing a new component, I often do some research about UX and how things should look; this is one of the places I go to and read their documentation. They also have a Storybook (React, Vue.js and Angular), so when developing, I sometimes check that out as well.
- Tauri
Better binary sizes than Electron
- Dansende beren
It's no secret that listening and playing music is a passion. Discovering new music is absolutely part of that. I mainly discover this new music through the website dansendeberen.be, where new reviews are posted every day. Not only from the big bands, but also from the local scene.
